Fantastic Stay in a Prime Location

helpful staffcentral locationwelcome treat
The staff was very helpful. They provided excellent service. I was welcomed with little mince pies upon arrival (a thoughtful touch!). The location is perfect as it is in the heart of the town, with a view of the castle.
The music from the restaurant downstairs was audible in the room until closing time.
Rooms

The room had lots of tea and coffee available. It also included a bottle of water. A tower fan was available and kept the room cool since it was a really hot day. The continental breakfast was good, with fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and a croissant.
Dining
10/10
I received a complimentary breakfast goodie bag. The pizza in the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was great (especially the fresh juice!).
Location

The location is ideal and very close to both the station and the castle. The hotel provides lovely views of the castle and harbor. It is easy to find.

Acceptable Stay

central locationfriendly staffsash windowsbathroom light
The location was central. It was very close to the sea. The staff seemed friendly and helpful when I interacted with them. My room was clean, and it had everything I needed.
There was a lot of light coming into the room. This was due to four sash windows and no blackout curtains. The bathroom light filtered into the room all night. This made sleeping difficult.
